El Indio is well known as the BEST authentic Mexican food in San Diego. I have been there many times, both for take-out and for dine-in. They have their own private parking lot across the street, so parking on the usually crowded India Street is not a problem. The food is very tasty and they have a great salsa bar and unlimited serve-yourself refills on drinks!
