as long as mom isn't afraid of water, she will love being on the water and enjoying a brunch from the really fine folks at Hornblower. as a bonus its in the budget!

My favorites are either "The Spaghetti Factory" in the gaslamp or "Joe's Crab Shack" behind the convention center.

try world famous... it's on mission bay drive north of the roller coaster a few blocks. it's right on the beach and is reasonably priced.

hotel del is really nice and its a buffet ... not like a ghetto buffet but they make your omelettes and have seafood and such. but it is pretty expensive. for the two of you i THINK it would be more than $35.
